To coincide with Clerkenwell Design Week, we designed an activation for the Humanscale showroom in London celebrating the legacy of designer Niels Diffrient and his pioneering work in ergonomic innovation.
The exhibition focused on the Freedom Chair, one of Diffrient’s most iconic designs, highlighting its key ergonomic features and the design thinking behind it. Bold graphics, printed on fabric and backlit to create a
luminous effect, served as a striking visual backdrop. A series of minimal cylindrical plinths, finished in wood veneer, provided a warm and sculptural foundation for the product displays. The result was a focused, visually impactful tribute to a design visionary, set within a dynamic industry event.
