As a second year Architecture Design course the proposal was to design a Church on a site facing 3 street close to the river bank. The volumetric design concept was influenced by my music career as a drummer for a reggae. In a round design all sides have a unique perspective view with a continuous flow that gives the observer a sense of curiosity beyond next corner. Once established the "Nave" as the kick drum is easy to assimilate the rest of the program related to the drum kit || washrooms as ride cymbals, administration being the snare drum, service area the rack toms and finally the bell-tower as the hi-hat cymbals defining a well orchestrated concept design. The scenario demanded to have 25% of green space which is accounted by adding an anti-theater that preserved trees and some of the natural site topography.
