Conceived as a second home for a young family working in finance, the brief was to create an atmosphere of timeless luxury – interiors that embrace the latest design trends yet remain immune to passing fashions, with a colour palette chosen to deliver maximum comfort, calm and the unhurried rhythm of countryside life.
From the moment you step inside, the house reveals its narrative of elegance. The grand entrance hall welcomes with a sweeping semi-circular mirror across the wall, paired with a discreet cloakroom for coats – functional luxury at first sight. Passing through, a second hall opens into an expansive open-plan kitchen and reception room designed for effortless entertaining. A guest ensuite and powder room complete the ground floor, while a wall of sliding glass doors dissolves the boundary between interior and landscaped garden, merging house and terrace into one fluid space when weather permits.
A sculptural staircase, framed by a soaring two-storey window, leads to the private quarters above.
