The design is inspired by the symbolism behing the logo for the new Huaihai Bank. Viewed from the rooftop, the building looks like a Chinese golden boat; viewed from the bottom, it looks as if a strong open hand is protecting and supporting the rising tower; from the side, the bottom of the tower flares out and becomes the main entry in reference to the "people" Chinese character. The Huaihai Bank Headquarter tower design is an embodiment of harmonic simplicity and cultural symbolism.
