The project is located on the corner of the rue d’Ostende and rue Vanderdussen.
The building was built on five levels with partial extension on the sixth level.
This project offers a reconstruction of the building front with a harmonious connection with the heights of nextdoor buildings.
The location of each apartment function is driven by the solar orientation of the building site.
The facade of rue d’Ostende is oriented NNE and the façade of rue Vanderdussen is oriented ESE, so we have chosen to place the living spaces on rue Vanderdussen with bow windows, whose south orientation captures maximum solar energy large.
Sleeping spaces and service spaces are logically located on the north side on rue d’Ostende, whose openings are less generous, avoiding the energy dispersion.
On the ground floor is located the entrance of the building, leading to service room such as bike storage and a special flat, accessible to people with reduced mobility. The other apartaments on the high levels offer a variety of size and type.
