This project is based on an investigation into the provision of new affordable housing, and attempts to address [at a large scale] the issues of housing and energy provision in the UK.Homes were conceived from my interpretation of Gaston Bachelard's "Poetics of Space" - i.e. rather than function, rooms are designed to facilitate different atmospheres and are therefore left for residents to utilise as they wish.
