Sircusa - Sicily, the downtown of the city is a small island, Ortigia. Close to Aretusa fountain, house R takes place among the Alfeo seafront and Castello Maniace street. Roberto Forte and Zero Architetti - architectural office in Catania - set a useful collaboration with the clients to enhance the historical character of the place, and its strategic position: the dwelling is a sequence of linked rooms each one overlooking the sea.
Re-thinked like a loft, in the new configuration, the environments are unified and set a sequence of compression and expansion of the space. The restyling provide an open space that has tailor made furnitures with a unique style code ispired by the sea.
The hall, living and dining room are in a whole moltifunctional core with a terrace overlooking the sea; here the dining table is movable and changes configuration according with the needs of clear the view. In the bedroom, lightblue color of the furnitures feature the environment.
