In a small hamlet in the Tyrolean community of Haiming, surrounded by rural idyll, a new residential building is rising that not only respects the past, but also shapes the future. The new building fits sensitively into the existing surroundings and surprises with its differentiated structural sculpture, which tells a fascinating story upon closer inspection.
As soon as they enter the building, the visitor is greeted by a harmonious symbiosis of past and present. The entrance building with a gable roof and brown wooden facade at street level pays tribute to the farmhouse opposite. This leads to the living area, which opens through floor-to-ceiling glazing and offers a panoramic view of the natural surroundings. The horses from the in-house breeding find their new home below this living area. The concrete facade with board formwork gives the lower part of the building a contemporary aesthetic that contrasts pleasantly with the traditional surroundings. Inside, the clear exposed concrete walls contrast with local oak and natural steel.
