The volume of the three-storey house reacts to the topography of the steeply sloping building site. Through the graduation and the mutual displacement of the volumes, open and covered spaces can be created at all levels. The structure of the building consists of reinforced concrete while the supporting elements have been reduced to a minimum. The consistently designed details, such as room height glazing, invisible sun protection and minimalistic railings lead to a clear perception. The reduced choice of materials in the interior, as well as the facade design through rough plastering and wooden elements gives the building a simple elegance.
