Showroom & Sales Office Design Competition
The Competition was organized to design a showroom
and a sales office for a construction company which specialization is the
construction of the residential buildings.
The building is a part of the exhibition that shows customers everything about
wood constructions from furniture to own structures inside and outside the
building from the viewing platforms.
The project demonstrates the full range of wooden structures for low-rise wood
buildings:
·
An exhibition unit which was made from the timber-framed structure with double glazing can be use as a winter
garden;
·
An exhibition unit which was made from the laminated veneer lumbers
can be use as a house;
·
A canopy over the entire building can be an outdoor pavilion.
The building
consists several blocks: a block of communications, exposure units and a canopy
(extra protection from the rain).
Because of the multilevel construction site the building was designed with offset displacement of levels.
The demonstration screen outside the exhibition unitwhich was made from the laminated veneer lumbers can be use for temporary installations.
Specifications and requirements for the building:

The total area of 160 square meters;
·
1st floor - office and showroom for 5 employees
(constructions), utility room, toilet and kitchen;
·
2nd floor - office and showroom for 5 employees of the interior
design firm (interior design & furnishing), utility room, bathroom and
kitchen.
