House on Bergstrasse, a contemporary single-family house, lies on the outskirts of Seeheim-Jugenheim (Bergstrasse) between a residential area and forest. This house was added to the site for the grandchildren of the original owners, who built a residence there in the 1960s. Unlike the original house, which faces the main road, the new house is oriented towards the interior of the site and extends the main living spaces of the first floor out to the private garden through the design of a transparent, glass southern facing façade. The primarily opaque northern façade creates a privacy barrier from the hiking route in the forest.
