At first we should renovate and extend a house. Finally we choose to demolish and build a new one.
The street is busy , the garden is quiet and sunny. We want to protect ourselves from the street thanks to few steps and to a brick filter facade . The house is fully open on the garden, thanks to two beams rolled 10m long each.
A fully glazed central patio acts as a green giant lantern, which allows lighting and ventilation for all rooms on the ground floor as the floor. Much of the house is concrete : columns, beams , floors, benches , shelves , stairs ...
The construction system , and clearly legible , is simply defined from the outside by large glazed sash natural aluminum : spaces are clarified and maintain a direct relationship inside-out.
At the garden's bottom, a depedence is renovated in front of the main building , which escaped a long pool to main living room.
