The House of Switzerland is a mobile pavillion, representing Switzerland abroad. It was originally built for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Russia. The house is manufactured industrially from prefabricated wooden elements with a re-usable, flexible structure. The interior technology of the building is installed in a ‘plug + play” way to ensure a short assembly phase. ‘Swissness” is expressed in an appropriate and contemporary way.Since it‘s time in Russia one of the buildings has appeared in Milan and in August 2014 it was constructed in Zurich for the World Athletic Championship.
