The beautiful view of the woods, the idea of having privacy in relation to the neighbouring houses, and the clients' wish to have the house be their getaway from the city, a place where they can have friends over, were the first steps towards the making of this single-story house, located on the countryside of São Paulo. The idea was to create three blocks that would differ in substance and use, segregating the space between social, intimate and services areas. To protect the house's interior from the neighbours' sight, imposing stone walls were built, giving the clients the freedom to leave the entire social area of the house open through their big glass frames that pave the way to the big porch, that lays over the woods.
