The house belongs to a young family. Surrounded by fields on the edge of a new village settlement in
the Southern Russia.
The architectural composition of the house is dominated by simple white volumes and shapes. The
architectural straightness is emphasized by the vertical wood trim of the two facade walls.
The main idea of shaping the house was formed thanks to the natural landscape with a height
difference of 2 meters. Therefore, the house on the site is located on several levels. At the top there is
a garage and a parking lot with a wide carport for two cars. If you go deep into the canopy, you find
yourself on a mini sports ground with a basketball hoop.
The residential part of the house is located down the slope. A floating staircase with stone steps leads
to the main entrance, and a massive volume of a canopy above the entrance, between two walls.
All space in the house is roughly divided into private and common areas. The windows leading to the
courtyard are located almost opposite the front door. Therefore, right at the entrance you can see a
part of the courtyard. This feeling of openness helps to blur the line between external and internal
space, and to feel oneness with nature. Most of the windows face the courtyard. This became possible
thanks to the L-shaped layout of the house.
In addition, this shape of the house creates a chamber space of the courtyard, and the kitchen-living
offers a panoramic view of the outdoor terrace and the pool with a lounge area. The feeling of open,
and at the same time, chamber, flowing space helps to create a family atmosphere.
A floating two-meter canopy stretches along the entire facade from the kitchen-living side and
protects from the hot sun during the day.
