This house was designed for Mini-cooper-mania husband and sports- loving wife. Parking can be considered as the extension of road, so we wanted to express speed and energy of Mini’s vivid motion on the road. The plan has circulation around a courtyard, and volume is rising upstairs in a spiral. The other line of flow through the kitchen is going down along topography to private space, a bathroom and a bedroom. House O is an active space just like the street and also calm place just like the pit. (Y.S.)
