This family house is planned in a compact settlement with a village character on the outskirts of the city. It has a modern dynamic open floor plan and three floors, i.e. basement, ground floor and first floor. Its orientation is northwest-southeast. The building’s location on a plot follows the existing morphology of the settlement and complements it.
Access to the building is intended directly from an existing municipal road. There are two driveways arranged, one for the garage and the other one to access two parking spaces next to the main entrance to the house, which is located on the northeast facade.
All three floors are connected by a staircase and an elevator. In the basement, in addition to the garage and workshop, there is also a storage room, a boiler room, a large room with a wine cabinet for socializing with friends and family, a utility room and a bathroom. On the ground floor there are main living areas with a kitchen, a dining room, a living room with skylight, a covered terrace with a summer kitchen and a sleeping area with a bedroom, a bathroom, a dressing room and a toilet. In continuation of the covered terrace, there is a spacious fitness area with wellness. In the first floor there are two spacious children’s rooms, each with en suite bathroom and a dressing room.
Building’s facade is articulated due to its dynamic contemporary open spacious floor plan. The facade reflects a play of materiality, which can be seen in a dialogue between the clinker facade cladding, large-format fiber-cement facade panels and brisoleis, that allow more privacy and shading in the summer time.
