The shape of this elegant, modern, rectangular single-family house is determined by the shape and position of the elongated building plot itself. The building is surrounded by neighboring single and multi-apartment buildings and an access road. The street and northern facades are therefore of a more closed type, while the facade facing the garden opens up completely with large glass surfaces. The interior of the building is dynamic with the establishment of a high ground floor and a mezzanine, which enables a various daylighting of the spaces. The basement floor is more of a technical type, the ground floor with the mezzanine is intended for common spaces and the first floor for children’s rooms and an apartment for parents. With a hidden basement floor and thoughtful glazing and facade materials, the building is visually reduced and we get the feeling of a floating first floor level.
