The House has been designed for the requirements of living together of two households in Wakayama, Japan.
The family consists of four generations of eight people from one year old baby to his great-grandmother. They run a company nearby and have lunch and dinner with everyone, everyday.
A large gabled roof which is made of titanium-zinc alloy covers a house entirely, and part of it act as eaves of verandas.
Each bedroom is positioned in a checked pattern three-dimensionally. The rest of the inner part of a house is a space which spreads to corners.
Four diagonal walls unify them into one and that gives all inhabitants both privacy and a homey atmosphere.
There is nothing decorative in the house. This house has a simple diagram and mazy space together with, so it can feel more expansive and larger than it is.
