Located on a double lot in a residential neighborhood of Greater Buenos Aires, the project of this house proposes, once again, opening up to the surrounding landscape. Both to the tree-lined north side, and to the starry sky itself. This is how the project is distributed over 3 floors that are terraced with green expansions on the two upper levels.
The “L” shaped upper floor towards the front rests on another “L” on the ground floor towards the back, leaving a large cantilevered sector towards the front that covers the car area, and a large green terrace towards the back over the be, descending the scale towards the garden and allowing the sun to pass through in the mornings.
The entire project is governed by a matrix grid, in this case 1.10m x 2.20m, which modulates each decision: each environment, each window, each slab, each lighting fixture, each circle of pins in the concrete. Everything is module or submodule.
Smooth concrete made of phenolic panels is the predominant material along with dark anodized aluminum carpentry, in this case. The wood appears in the interior as a staircase floor and wall covering. This central and leading piece was worked with different resolutions on the two levels, more permeable, with bridge steps, in the upper section; and solid reaching the ground floor.
