SIZE
0 sqft - 1000 sqft
Looking at the house, it is impossible to miss the reference to modernism. The building is a modest geometric shape without decorative details.
House in the Green frame is to be built in the city centre, among the old tree stands. It is designed for four people, Polish-Portuguese family.
The idea of the project was to create a multifunctional transformable zones closed in a modern pure form of the building.
When you look at the house, it feels like a labyrinth. However, its simplicity and easy-to-read form equalize the first feeling. Exterior functional zones - relaxation and barbecue - are connected by communication routes that are easily transformed by moving panels. The patio space is suitable for meetings, and the celebration of special moments will be enriched with greenery that is discreetly integrated into the area. The possibility of transformation thanks to the moving panels makes the space flexible and ready to adjust to owners’ needs.
Extensive glazing adds light to the interiors and paints a variety of green perspectives that change in the rhythm of the seasons.
The roofs of the house will be green. Owners attach great importance to ecology, so they have decided to do so. The green roofs include an increase in the green space, a natural air filter, a retention and thermal insulation layer, a natural damping layer, and an attractive floor for the roof terrace. Such a solution in the intimate recreational and leisure area will reduce stress levels, improving quality of life. There is also an old building on the plot, which will be adapted for the so-called summer kitchen/spa and wellness area.
The refined minimalistic interior and modernist building shape perfectly correspond to each other. Soft colors - grays and beige are the ideal base for seasonal, small transformation ideas. Interior materials are a class of their own, with elegant wood combined with concrete for timeless character. The limitation of the number of walls allows to change the layout in each floor.
Elevation of the building made of Equitone panels (linea and natura) in black.
