The purpose of the reconstruction was to create new spaces and living quality for family demands. As a result building area was extended from 290 m2 to 420 m2.
The house is located in a tradicional residential area in the city periphery.
In the process of reconstruction the cube form was purified like basis construction of building's primary look. It was achieved by disassembling pitched roof, non-functional bay windows.
The building area was extended by creating new volume from three sides around existing cube. Forms of different times were separated by different materials. The use of stucco as the main facade material, gives a sense of mass that is new. The use of wood shows existing form.
To fill interior with daylight was designed large skylight. There sunlight goes through all building: there is glass footbridge on the first floor and glass floor under the bridge on the ground floor.
