Design ideas for a contempoary family home on a steeply sloping site in Cornwall with stunning coastal views. Design to incorporate views, the landscape, and indoor pool.
The entrance has a direct visual link with the garden above. The slope of the hill is incorporated into the design of the home. Retaining walls are more than functional. They provide primary structure for the entire home and possibly contribute to heating the home. The possiblity of extending this idea into the living spaces and finishes was explored utilizing fabric formed concrete as a way of providing feature elements in the living and pool areas.
