The house is built on steeply sloping ground. A series of walls perpendicular to the slope provides structure. Between the walls, the slabs are built on visible wooden joists. Insulated concrete quoins connect walls to the façades. All materials and their joints are legible.
Downhill to the northwest, the house overlooks the grounds and offers far-reaching views towards the lake. Uphill to the south, it opens into enclosed gardens.
