This project was completed in Saitama Prefecture Konosu City, Japan in 2008.
It was built in a conventional Japanese industrial-wooden method for aged parents, their second son, and their eldest daughter who has each reached adulthood. The establishment of an individual space, and family ties “KIZUNA" and connection became the key components for the clients, especially for the parents for whom nursing is a necessary appearance. The Tatami room is connected to eldest daughter's room by the small atrium and the first floor enabled smooth housework and nursing in the passing housework movement line.
It was borne in mind to use a natural material.
