The clients, a world-renowned glass artist and his wife, desired a complete transformation of their suburban home. They knew they wanted an open loft-like space. This introduced challenges of articulating spaces within the open plan. Additionally, their museum-quality collection of artwork was of paramount importance-- how to integrate the art in a meaningful way in their daily lives. Lighted display niches, custom displays of metal and glass, were seamlessly integrated into the design, resulting in a series of rich, cohesive spaces.
