The site is sloping, situated in a hillside with a fantastic view of the Oslo fjord. The clients were ambitious in realizing a project taking advantage of the topography – creating a variety of outdoor spaces, framing views and interesting glares between different levels of the building.
The main volume in plastered aerated concrete fronts the fjord and contains functions such as living rooms, kitchen and hall, while the lower volume in aerated concrete and spruce cladding forms a sheltered and more intimate space around the entrance.
The project is done in collaboration with Ingrid Kirkerud m. arch.
