House 330, 1,150 SQFT house was a full renovation and completely remodeled. The house was a 12-year-old construction and came with a highly basic floor plan. The original kitchen was contained within a small space without storage and all bathrooms were compact, dark, and understated. The 1st-floor bedroom at the back was a dead space with little ventilation, a small bathroom, and no views. Deepak+Kavita Design Studio, completely transformed and modernized the 3-bedroom space. The interior design concept was to completely open up the floor plan so that the main floor kitchen, living, and dining areas are open-concept living space. The dramatic matt finish blue kitchen is contrasted with a beautiful white-washed Corian top. Gold artifacts are sprinkled throughout the interior space. The living room TV unit is highlighted with one-piece Italian statuario marble while we only choose to keep 2 color tones of sofa complementing the living room interior with ivory wooden texture floor, giving the house an elevated aesthetic. The only aim of our Interior design firm was to have a space that is glamorous and modern, but still comfortable and cozy. The Bedroom on the 1st floor was completely altered, with a green stretch of the plantation which would provide a positive vibe and better views from the entire room, dressing and bath. Being an Architectural and Interior Design firm, we have also kept real plantation as the most unique feature in the interiors as well as exteriors of the house. The house welcomes the guests with some cute and colorful Japanese Koi fish in the entrance fish pond, along with some beautiful plants around the boundaries. Therefore this interior design project is a real benchmark in the era of a contemporary Interior and Architectural designs which is edgy and glamorous, and still cozy and warm.
