House 19 is an urban housing project designed and constructed in a minimalist - modern - close to nature direction, located in an existing residential area with a narrow width but great depth. The architectural solution focuses on creating an airy, private living space, while maximizing natural light and green space to balance the microclimate for the entire house.
The facade uses a square block layout, combining a vertical wooden slat system, gray walls and black painted steel frames, creating an elegant, sturdy appearance. The garage area is set back to create a buffer, combined with a warm recessed ceiling to bring a luxurious feeling right from the entrance. The wooden slat system runs from the ground floor to the second floor to help block the main sunlight while maintaining the softness of the overall facade.
The ground floor is organized in an open structure, connecting the front yard - living room - central landscape - kitchen & dining table - backyard.
The living room is located right behind the yard, creating a natural welcome. The sofa is simply arranged, the light is directed straight to the TV wall.
The miniature landscape and koi pond in the middle of the house act as a "green lung", adding humidity, light and relaxation to the entire living space.
The spacious kitchen and dining area, taking light from the backyard, conveniently arranged kitchen island, suitable for young families who love cooking and gathering.
The toilet at the end of the house is cleverly hidden behind the green space to keep it clean and private.
Thanks to the layered organization of the space, wind and light are guided throughout, helping the house to always be airy without having to rely too much on the mechanical and electrical system. Green areas are arranged from the front yard, skylight, balcony to the backyard, contributing to creating a living space full of energy, balancing aesthetic and functional needs.
House 19 is a blend of contemporary architecture and a sense of natural shelter, creating a modern home that still brings gentleness and peace in the heart of the city.
