House 10:"House on the river bank" is a project of a house ,that was designed with the system Telescopic Modular Building.(www.nikolayivanov.net)
The house has two main volumes, which were designed to be extended from two base modules. The base modules are delivered with only one truck, which will also deliver the panels ,windows and doors. The whole skeleton of the building should be expanded for less than 48 hours. The placement of the panels, doors and windows should take less than 48 hours too. So the building would be constructed for no longer than 96 hours by a crew of 6 persons. The bathrooms can be built on site or can be integrated as prefabricated units.
The house's total area is 161,46m2.
The house has one large living room with a dining area ,that is directly connected with the kitchen. These rooms are oriented to the south. The house has supporting areas for a restroom and laundry room, that are oriented to the north. These rooms form the large volume of the house.
In the small volume are included two children rooms and one master bedroom for the parents, together with supporting areas for bathrooms and a corridor. The bedrooms are oriented to the south and to the west, gaining more natural light, while the bathrooms are oriented to the south and the courtyard, offering an amazing view.
The connection between the two volumes was made with one single third volume, in which is designed the entrance .It serves also as a gallery ,where the family could place their watercolor paintings or objects from their travels around the world.
In the interior of the house are used combinations between different wooden parquets and furniture in black and white colors. Also is included a mosaic in grey tones and mat glass areas separating the wet rooms.
The walls are covered with a thin layer of interior paint in different colors. For instance, in the living room the color is grey as a neutral zone, while in the children rooms and the master bedroom are used playful colors as pink and green.
The system Telescopic Modular Building offers speed and quality in the construction process.
