Located in the Lugar do Mirão, Póvoa do Lanhoso, District of Braga, this Residence imposes its presence due to two large blocks of rooms connected by an entrance hall, which incorporates the common and leisure areas of the building. With a capacity of 586 beds distributed over about 293 double rooms, 3 of which are for disabled people, the building occupies a gross construction area of 11 143 sqm.
The blocks of rooms, lined with pre-fabricated panels in white concrete, are of a more private character and thus are assumed as opaque volumes with a series of spans which ensure the illumination of the rooms.
In opposition, the entrance hall is a small transparent volume, from which the users are directed towards each block.
