Hotel on the Reef of the Island of Zhoushan (under construction) is located on a steep reef peninsula that stretches out to the sea at the seaside of Shengsi, Zhoushan. It is surrounded by the sea on three sides and has a difficult terrain. The building is embedded on the reef in a creeping posture, continuing the momentum of the rocks with neatly cut geometric forms, and constructing rich postures in different aspects with opening and closing changes: the coastal monolith constructed by the combination of slope tops depicts the scale and power of nature, and the abstract "home shape" of the single slope volume presents a dramatic experience of a warm residence in the vast nature; the site, geometry, and space collide with each other, together forming a different spatial experience that continues the natural power of the reef and the sea.
