The HOTEL is located in a central area of the city of Tapachula, Chiapas, in a house in the 1950's, traditional vernacular architecture of the region, among its main features wide corridors, venetian blind use of brick, and arches in the main hallway. Built in an area of 900 square meters.The project aims at two main aspects: recall the value and the idea of highlighting the existing house and its characteristic elements, present a marked difference in the time of construction.The proposal arises from the need for conservation of the old house as well as their adaptation to new uses, are working through a series of elements linked understood as parts. As was the square lattice, made of blocks of brick, and the incorporation of this element to the expansion that is designed for the hotel, so making a timeline, "between existing and new construction. Likewise spatially rehabilitation and intends to maintain the home's original line, through the arch and their brokers, which allowed the creation of a courtyard of 200 square meters, which houses the hotel garden, make him an intimate space, secluded within the city itself.The same shall respect the use of pasta tiles in a game of black and pink colors, framing the paths within the interior corridors, lobby, restaurant and the main hall.Outwardly retains the traditional facade of the house of the 50 which serves as a preamble to the intimate Hotel, the project emphasizes the relationship between public and private, through the use of the corridor and their bows, com so the garden as a place of coexistence.The final form of the project seeks to turn the hotel's architecture combined with the garden as part of its own landscape, so achieving a subtly tempted to environmental and landscape issues. The main corridor looking for protection from sun and rain, climate characteristic of the region, and through the lobby allows a visual connection to the outside.
