The client entrusted us with the ambitious renovation of their hotel, located on the seafront in La Costa Brava, in Roses. This project was developed in three phases, each focused on improving different areas of the hotel to offer an exceptional guest experience.
In the first phase, we undertook the renovation of Les Algues Chill & Drinks, an elegant tapas and drinks bar located on the first floor of the hotel, with stunning sea views. The main idea was to open the space as much as possible, transforming it into a covered outdoor area that can be enclosed with glass curtains. This design allows guests to enjoy panoramic views and the marine atmosphere throughout the year, regardless of weather conditions.
The second phase focused on the ground floor, where we addressed the renovation of the reception, the lounge bar, and the terrace. In this case, our goal was to create a seamless integration between the lounge bar and the terrace, designing spaces that could adapt to various uses, from private meetings to social events. The flexible design allows these spaces to be easily transformed according to needs, offering a dynamic and functional experience.
Finally, in the third phase, we reduced and renovated the existing dining room to make way for a new spa. This new addition provides a wellness and relaxation space, offering guests a luxurious retreat for rest and rejuvenation. With this last phase, we completed the hotel's renovation, adding a touch of comfort and sophistication that enhances the overall experience in this spectacular coastal setting.

AN OASIS OF RELAXATION
We designed a spa that combines materials such as ceramic and stone in dark tones to create an atmosphere of serenity and rest. Indirect lighting highlights the natural textures of the stone, while a ceiling lighting system, mimicking a starry sky, adds a touch of magic and tranquility. Additionally, strategic lamps have been integrated to generate a sense of coziness, making the space a perfect refuge for rest and total disconnection.
