A private hospital for Trofa Saude, designed on a very sloped terrain. The urban design of the hospital and its accessabilities was crucial to the project. A solid block of marble enveloped by a glass courtain wall relates to the higher terrain, wile the entrance on its lower part is added to the facade giving it a new height, and bridging the building volume to the smaller houses that other wise would be overwelmed by the size of this new building. The double height entrance ence created will host shops, a cafe and a restaurant, wich will overlook the old town from above.
