Subtle lighting highlights the architectural rhythm, while the desert landscape integrates the building into its context. Regional materials such as brick and finishes in sienna and beige tones were selected to resonate with the desert surroundings, while low-maintenance surfaces support the institutional image. Structural steel allowed for the execution of cantilevers and overhangs, emphasizing horizontality and shelter. The result is a balance of functionality and presence that enhances the patient and visitor experience.
The project scope included the expansion of the waiting area and outpatient consultation zone, the creation of a new façade, and associated site works such as walkways, parking areas, and landscaping. The labor and delivery area, including obstetric surgery rooms, was reconfigured to comply with updated healthcare regulations, while additional interior spaces were adapted to optimize clinical workflows.
