Hornsey Street Community Health Centre is a dynamic new facility with a range of Primary Care services including Minor Operations, Dentistry (for children with special needs), Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Podiatry Workshop, Orthotics, Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Services, Drug & Alcohol Services with training and staff facilities. Situated on the ground and lower ground floors of an 11 storey newly built residential structure this health centre is 2130 sqm and has its own unique identity.

Sprunt’s brief was to design a community health centre which did not feel too ‘clinical’ but relaxed and contemporary. Unusually the team selected a range of noble and natural materials such as the use of wood which brings richness and elegance to the decor. This together with the bold colour and excellent finishing by the Main Contractor resulted in a modern and exciting facility. The health centre is designed to BREEAM Very Good standard.
