This house was built on a 50' wide lot that was subdivided from the house next door. It is all new construction. My brief was simple: Design a house no more than 5000 square feet.
Holly House has 5 bedroom, 4 full & 2 half bathrooms, as well as 2 laundry rooms. The owners bedroom suite takes up the entire 3rd floor. Because the lot is not so large, I created multiple terraces that total over 800 square feet of exterior space. It sold for just under $1.6 million dollars. The project was featured in the Washington Post as the 'House Of The Week'.
