Redesign of a former office building in the city center of Leeuwarden - Friesland, the Netherlands. A minimal size kitchen and bathroom are the key elements for this spatial design. 23 apartments, housing for first time house owners varying from 42 - 105 M2. After taking out all the subdivisions etc. of the offices a skylight was created in the centre of the building to create a lightwell. Most of the appartments are organized around the atrium. All (concrete) structure is exposed with a minimal technical installation added. Thus creating a "loft" interior to be used by the tennants own demands.
