Nestled into the hillside, the Hill Country Home, is single-story home is designed for aging-in-place and includes a guest casita with its own covered walkway entry and kitchenette, ideal for children or a future live-in home care professional.
The project incorporates locally crafted, traditional yet double-pane steel and glass windows and doors, along with regionally sourced buff Lueders limestone, quarry blocks, and thermally modified wood for warmth and durability. The interior features a natural chiseled edge vanity countertop. The design revolves around health and wellness, with a master suite that includes a naturally lit fitness area and indoor spa, connecting to a covered outdoor area for relaxing or yoga. The pool’s infinity catchment doubles as an extended swimming lap lane. A separate trail connection, accessed directly from the indoor fitness room, ties into the larger community trail network for jogging and walking.
