CSDA renovated a vacant three-story hospital built in 1929 into two co-located facilities for Los Angeles School District, Hilda L. Solis Learning Academy (70,000sf) and Eastside Learning Center (30,000sf). The high school and adult learning facility was designed to accommodate multi-generational students by housing a variety of educational programs, accommodating new technology, offering flexible spaces and providing the security needed to keep the center open 24-hours, year round. A new two-story gymnasium building (15,500sf) was also constructed onsite.
