together with Australian Native Landscapes (ANL) have designed
cantilevered planter boxes which were project specific for the new car
park at Highpoint Shopping Centre in Maribyrnong, Melbourne. ANL's brief
was for a lightweight planter box system requiring drainage and
irrigation supplied to the top and connected to the base which could be
easily fitted off once the climbing plants had been planted.

Through the lightweight nature of LICOM76™ and the expertise of our
designers, we were able to develop a system for drainage and irrigation
inside the planter box with a feed at the base. A raised bottom was
incorporated into the design to reduce soil volume and consequently the
weight of the complete planter box.

The planters were delivered on site internally fully membraned with a
complete drainage and irrigation setup within the planter box system.
This solution was specific to the project and was achievable through the
versatility of the LICOM76™ product.
