General description: The High Hat Lamp Collection was designed as a part of a small furniture collection for the Chinese restaurant group South Beauty.
Materials: Anodized aluminum.
Focus: To design a lamp collection that meets the many different demands found in a large restaurant space. The High Hat Lamp Collection holds all these functions in one design DNA. The remarkable aluminum lampshade easily shifts from being a pendant to become a floor lamp, a table lamp or a wall lamp.
The designs draws it inspiration from the musical instrument the “high hat”. Being a professional drummer himself, Johannes Torpe has always dreamed of designing a piece that would combine his two big passions in life: music and design.
