The High Garden temporary pavilion is a real estate showroom for an apartment tower with a shopping center in Porto Alegre, RS. The challenge here was to emphasize the new street corner that would be built with the implementation of the development. The pavilion’s shape takes advantage of this new urban situation with a roof that rises towards the corner. A full height glass corner on a raised podium opens onto the street and provides access to the space.

The wood-clad building twists to configure the sloping roof, with part of the facade folding to become a ceiling in the same material. Internally, in addition to the main showroom space, the building has a kitchen for gastronomic events, a small office, and technical rooms. The elevated podium has steps and irregularly shaped levels to create seating areas and surfaces for visitors to sit on.
