This project, a proposal for Marble Hill in response to PLANYC2030, aims to directly confront the idea of the "tower in the park" as a prototype for housing. The design challenges the notions of collectivity and common space typically associated with high density housing projects. This proposal places an emphasis on notions of ownership, tenure, and the individual in housing. The prototope satisfies the need for density on these sites while prioritizing the independant household and private space.
