Along the history timeline of Al-Rashidiya area, especially beside the coast line, the indigenous citizens has been always practicing sea cruising, fishing and other activities, but what ruined it's aesthetic; is the industrial areas built around the coast line, causing a massive water pollution, which changed the smell of the water and the color of it.
So we had to find a radical solution to the problem of water pollution to re-engage the waterfront with the community and to return the vitality of the space, through adding bioreactors along the coast that works on the algae system.
