It was my intent that this building I designed is for the purpose of healing the people and bringing light to the community and the environment. With the help of my Client and friend Dr. Jorge Cornielle we decided to power the building by Solar Energy as a tribute to sustainable environments. The building site used to be a one story Garage. My client had a DREAM and saw the opportunity of turning it into a beautiful Medical Center that could serve the people of the community. He then turned to me after one conversation he had with me when I accidentally met him in the Plastic Surgeons offices of Dr. Paul Rosenberg while I was just waiting for my client to give him a cup of coffee. This Cup of coffee turned into the greatest opportunity for me, my client and the community of the Bronx. We designed and built the 2 story building with a structure that could also hold up 4 more stories in the future. The building has 2 Pediatric centers, Pharmacy, Dental space, Internist, Spa, Blood Lab, OBGYN center and Doctors lounge all in one building. I wanted this Medical center to breathe for the people just like how the trees breathe for the EARTH.Sincerely, Matthew Kelly
