Philosophy
- "Love for wood": Karl Pichler Firm is the most important
dealer of wood products in Alto Adige. Its philosophy "love for
wood" inspires the architectonical concept for the new
headquarters.Concept
- The new headquarter is a composition of an horizontal and a vertical
volumes. Horizontal volume is the main one: ground floor houses an
exhibition of wood products and the first floor hosts offices. In the
vertical volume stand staircase, lift and technical rooms. A meeting
room is located in the last floor, with a wonderful view on the
landscape and an access to the garden roof.
The
building is totally build with wood: structure, internal and external
covering those have different textures, forms and colours.
