HCOA Fitness, one of Puerto Rico’s largest providers of fitness, recently finished the relocation of their Paseos facility. The original location was in the Galleria Mall and was a smaller women’s only offering. Due to higher demand, HCOA relocated the fitness center to a larger location in the mall, and reopened it as their co-ed model.
S3 Design, Inc. and Obra Arquitectura collaborated on the design that pushed for a sophisticated new look that reflected the local demographics. Space Innovations was the contractor who worked tirelessly to provide a quality of construction that represented the design.
Together the HCOA and design/construction team delivered a new club that includes a modern lobby entrance and locker rooms; a large group exercise studio, tiered cycling studio, and dedicated yoga studio; as well as large cardio, functional training and strength conditioning areas.
The new location is showcased with plenty of glass allowing mall goers to easily view the club and all it has to offer. The reaction from the local area was tremendous with the club opening breaking many of HCOA’s internal records for sales, training, and memberships. S3 Design is proud to have been a part of the project and the HCOA team!
