`Hayat Residential Complex Project`
The project's special location, in the heart of Ab-Pari rainforest, and on top of its hillside has been MESH’s motive in setting maximum transparency as their main design approach. ‘Hayat’ is a blending of the team’s usual concerns for experimental and eventful designs, with this concept of transparency. The designed solution regarding the external layer of the project plays a main role in achieving the desired transparency, and benefits from MESH’s great taste in material solutions. The external layer also defines a basis for the projects architectural form.
Inside the apartment units, the terraces dominate the space. They are interconnected to the living spaces and play an intermediate role between inside and out. The sliding façade system that MESH has designed, covers the terraces and makes their openness to the surrounding environment manageable and variable. The space inside benefits from various views to the green surrounding and the view fades into the hillside and the rainforest, in many different natural sets, for each of which, the architecture has provided a different setting in form.
The combination of all these manageable sliding terraces has made an atmospheric architecture aiming at creating a green and calm space as home. The lay out of the 4 blocks is design in a way so that none of the views are blocked by architecture; architecture only frames these views.
